When it comes to the environment, sustainability is defined as the avoidance of the depletion of natural resources in order to maintain an ecological balance.

  • The Problem

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the growing housing market, we have seen the cost of living increase significantly. The pandemic has affected the supply chains and the housing market has increased the demand for lumber, resulting in the price of lumber to skyrocket.

A direct effect can already be seen in the retail sector. The price of a 2’x6’x16’ Pressure Treated board, sold at your local supplier, has increased from $17.76 (2017) to $35.93 (2022) - An increase of $18.17, more than double, in just 5 years.

Building a new structure or replacing your old one has now doubled in price. It is important to understand the TRUE value of lumber and not treat it like a commodity. We must protect our environment and reduce consumption. How else will we achieve sustainability?

  • The Solution

Our Vision is to reduce Canada’s lumber rate of replacement.

Our Mission is to protect, preserve and prolong the life of all exterior wood.

Our Goal is to re-create outdoor spaces and make them stay vibrant and inspiring.

Did you know, pressure treated wood can last up to 20 years? Cedar up to 30 years?

We offer services that demonstrates the durability of lumber and the proper steps to take when refinishing outdoor wood. Remember, replacing your current structure will cost you double and increases the demand for more lumber.
